Dream wars and a ticket to seem

Siren child do you hear me call?

Got a song for me

Dream child

Do you hear me call?

Sing dream child

Do you hear my call?

(Sisters of Mercy)

Kyoto

Biwa Province

"Excellent, everything is going to plan. Dearest Nehelenia, I see you have proven yourself more than able in the fight, having removed your enemies and thus my own, I am well pleased with you child. OH, this is more significant than the petty machinations of the Yakuza, or even the Shachihoko. What you are seeing today daughter is a planet wide invasion!" she cackled. "First, we feast before we march on the capital, to proclaim the establishment of the new Dominion, let us drink our health and longevity."

Metalia's words passed over me with little impact, though the image of that devouring flower that sucked it prey into its fathomless depths still clung to the backs of my eyelids. Yet, there were more pressing matters vying for my attention. I was worried, the blackouts that had only until recently come rarely were growing ever more frequent, and it was she, the golden moonchild responsible for this. I had no control now; the periods of memory loss grew lengthier and happened almost daily now.

"Come, we have plenty to eat, drink and there is a war to fight, victory will be ours!" Metalia announced prancing about in front of her throne.

Nyssa's Antique Toy Store (25 miles outside Tokyo)

The sheet music made me smile, all the elaborate pen strokes of raw ink, plasma of the writer, threads of dreams in process. Art by my hand spinning into reality before my very eyes never lost its taste.

The texture of rough parchment, fresh, though manufactured in the 21st century nonetheless evoked the classic era of which I was obsessed.

I read the music in time with the chimes that created a magical ambiance in my office.

A candle sat in a pool of pink wax, the perfume adding to the mood I had so assiduously put together as the summer storm lashed the city, a row of White Cypress bowing to the anvils as they passed by in arrogant procession towards the coast. I loved summer storms.

I had made the music box by hand; it took me six months to complete. Of course, such a beautiful item was not for sale. She was mine to enjoy alone.

the crystalline doll, a ballerina cast in pink marble-like gemstone with bejeweled agate eyes, hair of spun gold boasting two diamond clasps holding her shimmering locks in place in a dainty coronet atop her pretty head with a long ponytail falling to the backs of her legs, simply gorgeous.

She moved with grace upon the five-pointed star shaped platform inside the box with its polished Blackwood lid inlaid with gold silk. Clad in a purple tutu with a skirt that fell to mid-thigh, she was a miracle come to life.

I was so proud of Windsong; her body supple, anatomically precise to the point of hypnotic enchantment. I thought her real, and in her own way, she was just that.

She whirled, twirled, her faery wings hinting at her etheric nature as if at any moment, she'd leap off the lid and those tiny dancing shoes of soft red velvet would find her tiptoeing towards her creator, kissing my cheek before flying out the window to play with her friends.

My name is Nyssa; I am a young businesswoman and student of art. My parents share my passion for artisanship and music; hence, our small but lucrative company hat exported too many countries and satisfied the fantasy wanderlust of collectors and dreamers alike at home here in Japan.

Summer was caressing my senses, the window open, the perfume of freshly cut grass filling my lungs and the scent of newborn rains hinted in the song of the sky, children playing with the plushy mushroom on my veranda, my staff, Kiki and Rosetta watching over their little ones.

I heard a sound, looked up to see a doll, a living breathing crystal doll open the front door as is it were the most natural thing in the world for it to do, the girls hadn't noticed nor had their observant children, that, was strange.

She was life-size. I could only stare. She stared back at me, throwing a knowing smile my way as she stepped into the atrium.

She bowed. I was sure she was trying to reduce the shock factor at seeing a living, breathing work of art behaving as a sentient individual. I tried to stop myself shuddering, and began a four-fold breathing technique I'd learnt in my martial arts and self-defense classes, which I attended each Sunday morning.

Yes, she was pretty, all shiny black stone. Though enchanting, the doll frightened me a little, dolls never had that impact on me before, that was, until now. I began to whimper.

"I am Aurania. I will not harm you. I need your help. I am calling upon the dreamers of this world, as by dreaming, you create your reality. I need you to make these in the shop come to life!"

The tiny mouth, the shiny full lips, facial movements like that of a girl of flesh and blood had my full attention.

My ballerina was standing in her palm dancing and as Windsong spun around, she stopped and giggled.

I was losing it I knew, but no, this was quite real. I gasped.

"Windsong, you made her Come… to life? You want me to make all my dolls do that?" I squeaked. "I didn't do that, though, you did…"

"Yes, your dolls are so pretty, may I?"

All I could do was nod, observe the glittering girl with collar-length hair that floated around her slender shoulders, just like real hair. Lifting her hand, I heard a soft whooshing sound; silvery light ran over my doll collection perched upon several oak shelves, display tables and cabinets.

The dolls opened their eyes, faces animated; a smile from Little Red Riding Hood, one of my favorites had me moving towards the diminutive creature.

"Stupid question I know, but how did you do that?" I managed between palpitations.

Standing on her own two feet, my little Red Riding Hood heroine smiled and bowed. How often had I wished for this to be so, I mean, my dolls coming to life and now they had – now what?

"How did you do that?" I repeated the question, almost in a whisper, as Cinderella and her prince began their waltz.

"I didn't do anything; I only woke the love you invested in these dolls. Now, they will help me, and your people banish the dark ones who wish to make you all sleep forever and become trapped in perpetual nightmares."

"How?" I asked, incredulous at the notion. Seeing, was, as they say, definitely believing; she had after all awoken and animated my dolls so I sat down and listened carefully to what she had in mind.

My dolls and others like them would sing en masse, an ancient form of magic known to native peoples all over the world since the beginnings of time. I could now feel the light washing over me as my tiny friends began their choral refrain, Aurania joining them as the chorus spread throughout my darkened street and beyond; the atmosphere alight with silvery-blue light truly beautiful.

Old Quarter

We moved with caution upon the shopping plaza filled with dead and dying youma, most burnt to a crisp, others dissolving before our eyes.

"Rei?" Mamoru asked, knowing the answer.

"Yeah, she's unstoppable," Mercury, said in awe.

"I'm glad she's on our side," Venus said, as Luna and Artemis nodded with an heir of solemnity and respect for the Martian Warrior Princess.

An abandoned burial Ground on the edge of the city

The webs, as thick as tree trunks, shot across the sky intercepting one another to build an eerie canapé, not even Wiseman could have woven such sinister magic as this.

"Oh crap," I breathed, about to continue the rite when this latest weird chapter in our work for the Youma Queen had to take a backseat.

I stood frozen to the spot. Something was terribly wrong. The ancient monuments were beginning to crack and buckle, some moving about like clumps of plasticine assuming a host of weird shapes before crumbling to dust.

I shook my head, blinked. I couldn't believe it; necromancy hadn't been this risky before, but there were the rock ogresses and ogres, the skull screamers and blood-sucking things, ek… This was all-going wrong.

The sound of beating wings, belonging to thousands of bats as it turned out, cast inky shadows over the girls and me as they made their way eastward.

I looked up; the bats were gone. Dark clouds were lined in bright red light with orbs of fiery gold flashing like inquisitive staring eyes as if the storm clouds were watching us, volleys of red lightning making the dome formed by the metallic webs glow in the Stormlight.

I fought to stop my hands from shaking but lost the battle.

"Pala doesn't like this, she will summon Tetis!" the petite blue-haired senshi squeaked.

Soon the ground began to move, as an invisible force tore the masonry belonging to a nearby crypt apart, a large column or two tumbling to the ground with a heavy thud had me leaping clear, this was bad. I had to admit, I was terrified as I summoned my whip.

Balls of black mist spun like supernatural tumbleweeds over the resting places of ancient dead then crept towards us.

"Something isn't right here, the orbs are failing to keep those things, whatever they are, at bay," Ceres said, as she threw another at the foggy entity moving a little too fast for her liking in her direction.

unfurling before our eyes a host of wraiths, their heads resting on folded arms, knees tucked beneath their chins as they straightened out of their spherical positions; pretty in a strange kind of way yet frightening as they hovered in mid-air regarding us with something approaching cold detachment or unbridled contempt. Their eyes vacuous black holes, their hair twice their body lengths streaming out behind them as they gathered their power. I then noticed their amphibious limbs, black webbing fins running the length of their dark physiques, impossible to describe with any degree of accuracy. They were in a word, weird.

I could feel the clingy tendrils that passed for hair reaching for us as the wraith-like girls opened their mouths and started blowing gusts of icy wind our way.

"Pala does not feel it a good idea to continue our engagement with these ghosts. Pala wishes to get the hell out of here; would you all not agree that to be a desirable action?"

"You said it, woman. We're not doing so good right now, you're right!" Juno croaked, as a burst of green fire preceded a wall of thick thorny vines that failed to slow down the apparitions who slipped through the barricade of thick vines she had summoned.

"Worth a try girlfriend but they're still coming!" I gasped; my arms and legs covered in goosebumps as I stepped back cracking my Fire Whip.

Without warning, the wraiths formed an arrowhead and flew at us en masse wailing and screaming, talons reaching for our tender flesh. I didn't need to warn the others to run, we all ran.

"Jump the wall!" I gasped, fire flaring around me and incasing the others in a protective shell as we leapt over the ancient cemetery's boundary.

Tetis appeared, nodded and turned to deal with the wraiths and in a burst of light; we were back at the warehouse safe and in one piece.

"Pala is feeling much better, but she needs a cuddle."

Joining her in a group hug, it felt good to be amongst friends, as tears streamed down our faces as Diana, having assumed her feline form, rubbed up against Pala's shaking legs.

Upon her return, Tetis smiled at all of us, as we stood huddled together. "Wraiths are gone. Oh, and by the way, there are a whole lot of entities entering Tokyo, and they're not all bad either. I counted several thousand Fae and mermaids, bird people, along with dolls and many other enchanting creatures. I think you girls will love the sight. C'mon, let's get this debriefing session out the way and eat."

"You don't need to ask twice," I winked and she gave me ‘five' and we all began chatting with her and her guy.
Minutes later, she and Ace led us to the mess hall.

Old Quarter

"What are those things sir?" the young soldier in kaki fatigues said, rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.

I stared at the line of nightmarish beasts assembling several hundred feet away and gasped.

"Your guess is as good as mine soldier; now bring the mechs on-line, we're in for heavy weather men!" the commander of the Special Operations unit shouted and we were quick to obey.

"Don't forget the women, sir… with respect," Airaishu grinned at our superior who sighed and nodded then offered a wink. He liked her - he liked her a lot. On duty, they were the paragons of professional and honorable conduct but we all knew they had a thing for one another, no big secret amongst the ranks. "Besides, we are the elite of the battle group, sir, and ready to move at a moment's notice."

"Noted… Those things are moving this way, fire the flares and follow up with the bazookas!" he shouted.

"Captain," a new voice put in, "time for the heavy artillery, Mech Division prepped and ready to go, sir… let's kick some serious butt!" these words galvanized our troops as we took up our positions throughout the warehouse district.

"All right people, on my mark!"

Tokyo SKTX-497 disused subway station

"It had served as a temple for an old offshoot of a pre-Shinto religion that no longer exists," her youma general explained, as Metalia licked her lips.

I hated her rapacious appetites; most of us who had any sense did anyway as not all left her bedchamber the same, or alive.

"Yes, the ground so sweet and desecrated. I can feel the dark power buzzing here, good choice Sasha," she purred.

I stared at my indigo nails and looked up to see the youma bowed and draw his rapier and salute the gemstone woman, her slimy red tongue like an extended vine licking his face and prodding his groin.

Kamis knows she is such a disgusting freak. I hated her with a passion, even more than that little fishlet that I decided to leave alone now that the game had changed and my ambitions were in the enemy camp. Metalia had no idea and that pleased me no-end, but I would soon return to the mirror after putting in what I hoped would be my final audience with that bitch.

"You please me; I shall take you this night after the celebration. Are our legions ready to march?"

"Yes, milady," a second youma general piped up but then there was a loud explosion that almost knocked the youma off their feet; the subway was shaking violently.

I clung to a nearby black marble pillar, and despite its dirty surface it saved me from serious injury as the result of finding myself hurled across the chamber.

"What was that?" the Lizard Queen snapped, raising her staff.

"This is highly irregular my queen, the city is devoid of Light Bearers," he squirmed in his boots fearing a fiery punishment for his lack of competence.

"Citrine Find out!"

"Yes, my queen," he bowed and scurried out of the chamber, leaving the senior youma leader scowling after his subordinate.

"I am not so sure the city is clear of senshi, I can feel them here in Tokyo my Queen and I imagine you definitely can as well."

"Correct my humble general, my Right Hand… As for you, come, I need a distraction ad sex is the perfect opiate."

Grinning, the general nodded. Taking is hand; she turned to her other advisors. "The whore, Beryl, fined her. Bring her here, or if that is not possible, kill her. I am sure this has something to do with her… I feel it, now go!"

I froze as she turned those blazing red eyes towards me, addressing me in an icy tone, "Child, if your chained up Bright-Moon self has anything to do with this, I will absorb you both, feed on your Star Seeds and delight in the tasty morsels you shall make. Although...," she paused, licking her lips once more, grinning at me, I was sure she was examining every inch of my body, especially the black low-cut Gothic Lolita dress I wore, her tastes were omnivorous. She sighed and continued with her admonition, "If you're lucky, you'll live, if not, then… I might just play with my… food a while before devouring it; now go check on her!" she barked.

I returned her cold icy glower all the while struggling to control my rage, disgust and contempt. I nodded, spun around and strode out of the Throne Room not uttering one word of salutation. Metalia respected my occasional bouts of defiance now and then; it kept me alive. Besides, my belligerence pleased that snake and allowed me to work around her to help Tetis and the girls.

Old Quarter

The youma were sliding out of drains, pipes, over the lips of rooftops, leaping out of the windows of deserted buildings, stomping along the lanes and central causeways.

Snipers fired upon the legions of youma foot soldiers that then began to bellow and scream; falling in flames as the mechs launched their assaults. The smell of cordite and roasted fur and flesh made me want to wretch, but I held it together. There was no choice.

Then the youma struck back and the blood on both sides began to flow.

I launched the aerial assault, a high-tech squadron of AUV with laser cannon turrets now targeting then firing upon the thousands of youma heading our way. I was still getting used to the fact monsters were actually real.

‘Kurashiki Risa, you're going to have a lot of trouble convincing the gang back in Kyushu of this truth, the military have to get wise and fast to the fact that the rumors of senshi and youma are not faery tales!'

Metalia's Subway Base

Beryl was dragged into the chamber. She was terrified as she clung to the leather jacket of the youma general charged with the responsibility and looking a little uncomfortable manhandling the former Dark Kingdom monarch unaware of her legacy.

Metalia slapped her hard, knocking the girl to the floor and spat on her as the young woman wept at Metalia's feet.

"Pathetic, dirty and you need to bathe, slut, and to think you once served as my vessel… Clean her up, Nehelenia that is your department, priming the whores for the Shachihoko. You're so good at it are you not, ne? Now go carry out my orders!"

"As you command," I said, with no sense of submission or reverence, simply a dull monotone.

She grinned at me, folding her arms as I picked up the distressed girl off the floor and led her to my rooms.

---

I had come to a decision. In a set of chains, her bloody face and bruises all over her body from the beatings the youma had inflicted had forced my hand.

"Beryl, she will kill you, you're coming with me."

"Why is she doing this to me? I've done nothing; I'm just a classy ho is all. I have visions I don't understand… yeah, so?"

"Obviously, you've not had your memories restored."

"Come again?"

"I'm not that sure if that is a blessing or a curse, but you may find your ass is fried by the senshi if they get hold of you."

"Senshi? You mena, they're real?"

"Shut up, I'm trying to think," I snapped.

Metalia was in a state of disorientation. Apparently, Pluto and Sunedra had successfully brought the various realms together by synchronizing time and space, clever; this would make it possible to destroy that bitch now.

"Fuck you!" Beryl muttered.

I ignored her. I understood she was on the Yakuza's payroll; I liked her for that at least she was small fry and yet, she was royalty, albeit in absentia in terms of her lack of memory concerning the Silver Millennium and her bloody part in it. Tetis might do something with her, train her or something like that, whatever.

I pulled out a black pair of Thins, the jeans and the tank top would make her look like a typical adolescent, and the hair, a ponytail and baseball cap with a butterfly motif, so American. It would make her inconspicuous that was if we got out of the subway alive. I was proud of the make-up I used to cover her bruises, cuts were clean, and only one or two bandage strips were visible.

"Come woman, get dressed, and move that butt of yours or we're both dead, got it?"

She whimpered and nodded, almost falling over while forcing a slim leg into the jeans. I left her to it and stuffed a few small belongings into a bag. I summoned the mirror; it consumed the wall and taking the trembling former dark Kingdom monarch's sweaty hand we stepped over the threshold.

---

I stood with Beryl in front of that accursed mirror unsure as to why I'd brought her here. Maybe she'd remember, maybe she wouldn't.

"Can you smash that?" I asked, half-hearted.

"What? With my bare hands?"

"No, with your mind, close your eyes and focus on the glass."

"If you think it is necessary…"

"Believe me, it is, smash it!"

Beryl shrugged, and sat on the floor cross-legged, closed her eyes and breathed in and out, as I had instructed her. If I could be rid of The White Moon Girl, I would likely have enough power to come into my own and destroy Metalia without any help. I had to take the chance.

"Why don't you smash it," Beryl whined, wiggling on the ground, "my ass is sore!"

"It will be a lot sorer if I kick it, now breathe deeper!"

"Okay, you're so mean!" she sulked and did as I asked and began to get the hang of it and was soon in a trance state.

I noticed the surface of the mirror prison was beginning to quiver. I clapped in triumph; cracks were appearing on the surface.

The girl stood up, her bonds falling off her wrists and ankles, weird.

She was crying, her face pale, and her long glossy hair resplendent in stark contrast to the rest of her. She was glowing, not dying as she was supposed to do after the mirror was smashed.

"What the fuck, this is a trick!" I growled, clenching my hands into fists.

"No sister, it is no trick. I am you; you cannot destroy me, because if that were possible you'd be killing yourself. That brooch you wear, take it off and hand it to me." The child spoke with self-assurance.

I shook my head. "I don't think so little wench, not today, not ever."

"Hand… it to… me."

The White Princess soon had the butterfly brooch in her hand and it burst into flames.

Beryl screamed as red fire engulfed her, but she wasn't burning, not in a physical sense. Memories were assaulting her innocent mind. She turned away and dry wretched.

"Beryl, you are the key. We are going back. The dolls are coming and you will unleash their power but first…"

I stared as the girl, her face covered in dirt and dried blood, legs and arms scratched, the tattered dress barely covering her thin frame squeezed the brooch and it exploded into what I could only describe as crystal dust.

"All obscurations are atoned for, we will now merge."

"No, keep away from me; I've come too far to let you-"

My eyes blurred as the woman, Sailor Mars that I knew as Estella, that little whore Hino Rei, appeared in silhouette over my doppelganger. I knew she sought to kill me.

Mars gasped, and breathing fire at me, I pulled away but the flames didn't touch me. She saw the White Moon girl and stopped her attacks.

Shaking her head, she understood what was happening and she too began to cry.

"Hino Rei, Sailor Mars, the dark me is no more, she is soon to be cleansed. I am merging with her; your fight is no longer with her but Metalia. Go join your friends and we will do our part."

"Thank you," she said, stunned by what she was seeing and feeling and the vision vanished into a pit of flames within a shrine of some kind and was gone. I felt a heavy weight lifted from my shoulders in that moment.

I felt her stepping, inside of me, yeah, strange; we were occupying the same body. I now wore a white dress, similar in cut though not showing off as much cleavage and my feet were bare. My hair was golden, my eyes blue, and a silver circlet atop my head finished the new look.

I didn't wish to harm anyone; the darkness in me had gone. I began to cry. Beryl, wringing her hands, hugged me. The light that burst forth because of the embrace had, for the moment blinded us.

"What is happening to me, to you!" the young woman demanded.

"Tell me and we'll both know, but guessing, I'd say we have been forgiven by the kamis and those we've hurt in our darker states. We are free Beryl."

I remembered my life in Europe as Elizabeth Bathory, as a princess in the Silver Millennium and much more. I was liberated at last.

Beryl was a senshi, this was fucking insane, but I hugged the golden clad woman with matching wings like those of a huge bird of prey.

"I now know what we must do Nehelenia, we must open the gates of the city, the time is come!" she said, the symbol of Terra emblazoned upon her brow, her eyes bright emerald.

Old Quarter

I couldn't believe it; several alternate realities were converging on Tokyo. We all saw the black spider webs blanketing the sky. I was scared.

She walked unsteadily on her human legs, as if in very high heels, but no, she was adjusting to the gravity of our world. Dream Mermaids were similar to those of legend in the waking world, although I began to wonder if mermaids as recorded in folkloric tales on Earth were true, Sunedra and her people were living proof that this was likely.

She introduced me to Nyssa, and as the Jinja was a portal of light, I saw the Fae folk, beautiful creatures and of course, Nyssa's dolls, animated along with many other enchanted beings given life.

As the beauty of her world that lay beyond the caged capital came into view, I knew where the light of hope resided. The Dark Kingdom was indeed vast, but paled alongside all the other worlds.

"This is so weird, Sunedra, are you okay?"

"Yes, I think so; this is proving a little more… ouch difficult than I anticipated. Usagi, can I grab your arm for support? It seems my conch, your Ginzuishou, his Kinzuishou and other sacred stones are adjusting to one another."

"That makes sense given the change in the landscape," Saturn put in, resting her Glaive upon her bare shoulder.

"Yeah," I agreed, holding Sunedra's hand as she began to get used to her legs.

---

I looked to Mamoru who had stepped through a mirror with a woman with pink hair in a senshi fuku, my daughter to be, as a young adult.

I was overwhelmed at the sight of my little girl all grown up.

"Chibi-Usa, or-"

"Mom, just call me Bunny that will do, you guys all-right?"

"I think so. We've got a lot of catching up to do when this is all over and done," I managed, not knowing what else to say.

She embraced me and patted my shoulder. "You'll be okay mom, and Sunedra you have a lot of people keen to help you; even Tetis, although I still can't figure her out just yet."

"She is seeking redemption," the mermaid said, "although… she isn't entirely aware of this yet. She, nonetheless, will be granted her deeper wish when this is finished. We must not be complacent. Nothing is set in stone, dare I say, crystal?"

We all laughed.

It was as if the dream world was absorbing the real. Everything seemed hyper-real. Sunedra knew what to do.

The mermaid princess lifted the silvery-crystal conch to her lips and blew. The beautiful sound that followed coalescing with the haunting chorus rising from the legions of dark crystalline girls was truly beautiful.

"Ready?" Mamoru said, producing two large red roses and placing one in my hair and handing another to Sunedra."

We all turned to face the hordes of youma once more.

"Mars Flame Sniper!"

"Venus Cosmic Hug!"

Mercury Blizzard Blast!"

"Oak Evolution!"

I unleashed my own assault along with a host of other attacks directed at our enemy's forces with blistering effect.

---

With the combined power of Sunedra's people, the Fae, the dolls and other Shitennou and all the senshi we had defeated the youma armies.

"Okay, everyone, let's go kick some evil butt!" I cried, and we began to move towards the location Mercury had tracked for us.

---

"Usako, I hope this isn't a trap?" Mamoru raised an eyebrow, his golden blade lighting the way.

“Me too, Muffin!” I answered back.

Tetis and the dolls were now pouring into the chamber far back behind us.

---

"So, you came back, Nehelenia. Miss me so soon? You've changed, oh my!" she hissed, sarcastic and venomous as she sat in a provocative posture upon her throne, serfs at her disposal. "Time for me to put an end to this farce ladies, senshi, Shitennou, and yes, Jadeite, Kunzite, Zoisite and Nephrite; star gazer, I know and love you all. Alas, our final meeting is to take place, it's been nice!" she screamed, rising to her full height, summoning her power.

As we took up our positions, Terra materialized before us aglow with the light of the Kinzuishou. Mamoru was surprised and nodded in her direction. She smiled.

"I am the key and this is your end, Metalia, nobody else's, your time is at an end!"

The dolls flooded the chamber and Metalia fell to her knees, her tongue lashing out at random, mostly taking down her own generals and youma. Pressing her hands to her head, the obsidian dark queen shook her head, her face and body humming, her reflection cast in every shard upon each doll.

Aurania glared at Metalia. "We are your slaves no more. Like you, we were cast in gemstone, but now we are free. You shall return to essence. Metalia, this hour you shall make restitution for all you have done!"

The Lizard Queen called up her reserves of dark magic, monsters and visions so ugly and horrific these stirred fear in us all.

"Enough!" Sunedra appeared and the fierce beasts and entities of nightmare vanished and Metalia began to shake, a tear in her eye, I didn't believe this.

Taking Terra, Nehelenia and I by the hand the mermaid princess led us forward.

Sunedra placed her hands upon Metalia's head, a burst of teal light washed over the dark monarch and the entity that had been the core of misery for all of us for eons began to vibrate like a tuning fork. Sunedra nodded. I along with Terra, the girls with the support of the Shitennou let Metalia have it.

She shattered and a warm wind blew the dust that was our nemesis to the four directions.

"It is done, she is gone."

I then noticed a silvery-indigo butterfly with pink webbing fluttering around Sunedra's head.

"She is innocent once again and her journey will continue as will ours, let's go back to our respective worlds," Sunedra said as the dolls stepped back through a huge mirror that took up most of the back of the chamber.
