Disclaimer: I own nothing of the characters and the names, but the idea and plot combination. -- Prologue -- Serenity Selene Serena, the Moon Princess, had been bored for about a month due to the absence of her four ladies in waiting, who flown to Earth for some pressing matters. Her ladies in waiting were Princess Ami of Mercury, Princess Minako of Venus, Princess Rei of Mars and Princess Makoto of Jupiter. Princess Ami Amelia Ames was the natural blue-haired princess who had an IQ of two hundred. Despite of her timid look, the introversive girl was in fact very knowledgeable from Physics to Chemistry and Edison to Einstein. Every time that a person had a question, he or she knew who to look for - Ami. Princess Minako Miranda Mina, who came next, had a stunning look. She had blond hair, blue eyes, had an identical face to the Moon Princess, and even their personalities were almost identical. However, the funny part was they weren’t twin or cousins, no family relations. Princess Rei Rae Raye, on the other hand, was a priestess who did fire reading in her spare time. Many princesses and top models from other nations had envy for the raven haired princess’s killer body and look, and knew if she was to participate in any pageants or modeling, she would be the one, and without a complaint. And finally Princess Makoto Manny Moore, who came last, was a brunette lady of an athletic figure. Hand-to- hand combat was her strength, but she wasn’t a bully nor was she a boxer. As the matter of fact, being in the kitchen and garden were her fortes. Even though the high pony-tailed brunette wasn’t a professional chef, but she did receive a lot of complements for it. Now that the girls were reunited, the topic they mostly discussed on was the landscape differences between these two orbs, especially that garden. The phrases "Oh, you should have been there, Sere" and "The garden was so magnificent" kept repeating every moment they started a conversation. "How beautiful can that garden be?" Princess Serenity had asked. At first, she couldn't find what was so interesting about their so-called breathless garden since she had one of her own, but when her friends explained everything they saw in the garden, especially those things one couldn't find on the moon, such as roses, she immediately had stars in her eyes. As a princess, Serenity was forbidden to go to the Earth, because the possibility of being captured was high. Yet, her curiosity was killing her for long enough to form a perfect plan in order to not get caught sneaking out of the Moon Kingdom. For days and nights, the princess discreetly plotted her plan thoroughly so that there would be less chance in finding out of her sudden disappearance. As the night drew nearer, her excitement became harder to conceal by each day, and that almost surprised everyone. No one would dare to make the attempt to ask because the princess in front of them and would sometimes glee to herself from time to time. No one was stupid enough to think they would expect having their answer from someone who acted peculiarly out of blue. ---------- Looking from the outside of the window, the illuminated night exposed the hidden side of the Moon Garden more beautifully. The outline of the fountain, which was located in the middle of it, was visible enough to reflect its design for the Earth to see and to be awed at. The lake on the opposite direction looked so serene in a calm summer night. ‘Tonight was the night,’ the Moon Princess thought. She was currently having a very late dinner with her mother. Normally they weren’t dining at this hour of time, but the Queen wasn’t available until half past 10. As an only child to the lunar bloodline, the princess would rather wait for her only family than to dine alone. Took a quick glance at the bell rung from old grandfather’s clock, which it read past 12, Princess Serenity gave a yawn before asking the permission to leave. Such action, apparently, gained everyone’s attention in the dining room. A small fact which they had missed, however, was that it was all an act. Queen Selene, sitting across the table, was having political discussion with her one of her advisers Lady Luna looked up. Seeing that it was far beyond her daughter’s bedtime, she gave the permission before resumed back to her conversation to Lady Luna. At first, it started off with some errant talks, and then slowly it led to a marriage alliance. She didn't want to establish the betrothal in front of her daughter's presence just yet, because knowing Serenity, she would complicate the situation by running away and hiding to someplace until she revealed herself. Once in the chamber, the future queen to the Moon Kingdom pretended to be asleep, knowing her guardian, who was also her mother’s adviser – Lady Luna – would come to check on her, which she did 20 minutes later. Once the coast was cleared, Princess Serenity got up form her bed for it was time to precede her plan. Lowering her voice as discreetly as possible, she cast an ancient spell she had secretly practiced for some time now. The next thing she knew she was engulfed by a silver light. ---------- "Where am I? What is this place?" the Moon Princess was now confused, because the place where she was now was not where she thought she was. The garden. Observing her surroundings more thoroughly, she realized it was a chamber! It seemed that it was someone's bed chamber, for there was an elegant four post bed. Yet that was not what surprised her the most. It was her spell... which had rarely gone wrong before. That really got her thinking: 'Was it because I had the chanting wrong? Or was it because I had yet to master my power?’ Now panicking, Princess Serenity tried to find a way out, and to her relief there was an exit. However, just before she could reach there, a footstep was heard. A loud bang was heard indicated that the room was slammed opened. The princess, who was not fast enough to hide herself, was rooted on the feet between the entrance and the balcony. There, at the entrance stood a drunken Prince Endymion. Despite of his unfocused vision, he could tell there was someone in the middle of his room, but who was this someone he didn’t know, neither he was to realize that that was how the wheel of fate begun to spin. He did not give a second thought as their eyes made contacted, and swooshed, he had her close to him before kissing her hard on the lips. Finding himself getting harder to resist the kiss, the Prince of Earth gradually let his instinct kicked in. From the wall then to the bed, things were getting hotter and the heat atmosphere only to lead them to one and another. Pretty soon, their clothing were scattered on the floor, and two nude bodies were already intertwining on the bed as the full moon shone brightly outside from the window. Having so caught up with their own desires, neither the prince nor the princess was to aware that one of the earrings the princess was wearing somehow had losing from its position. ---------- Princess Serenity, now in her own chamber, cried silently until the sleepiness came to her. It was nearing dawn by the time she returned to the moon, with her puffy red eyes. That had been her worst experience ever, and because of such a horrible event, she had made a promise to herself that she would never ever sneak off again no matter what the cost was. -- End of Prologue --
