Minako was beside herself. It was he, Kunzite, delivering on his promise. The apple blossom writing paper expensive, the floral motifs a profusion of pinks, lavenders and golden tones. She dared not pinch herself. For if it was a dream, it was one she certainly didn't wish to wake up from. Ever.

Heart palpitations. She was short of breath. Always the sweaty palms, the flushed skin, and the sensual tingling sensations rushing over her skin. She was hot and bothered all right and her fantasies of seducing the man she'd loved over millennia didn't help matters either.

Chewing upon her bottom lip while sitting at her writing desk, she was reading and re-reading the scented letter. Unconscious of the fact she was gripping handfuls of her long golden tresses in her hands that shook with desire, this manifesting in the form of a wave of goosebumps racing over her hot flesh. She gasped, unable to control the sensations rising from the tips of her toes up long shapely legs to her abs, breasts and like liquid heat over her entire body under the light yellow summer dress, she wore.

She continued to read the letter. Once more, her body would perform as if it were the London Symphony Orchestra on steroids. She loved the pun. She was a flautist, she had taken it up as a hobby, but now she had discovered a lost gift. Perhaps in an earlier embodiment she'd been a flautist in the Japanese court or in an exotic location like Ancient Greece, Rome or Egypt. She didn't know. But it felt good and it made her happy.

She loved him. She wanted him and she would have him. But with this sudden realization, it scared the hell out of her. But after reading this letter, and accepting his impromptu invitation she was committed and she hugged the plushy white kitty he had sent her, a gorgeous pink heart plushy around the larger plushy furball. She had felt the tears escaping at the crystalline blue eyes and the name of the cat, 'Artemis' and the little card covered in hearts and kisses and scented with the apple blossom scent she loved so much. Smiling at the air tickets for herself and Artemis, she slipped the affirmation into the envelope, sealed it and called Artemis. She had determined she would travel to the Great Southern Land.

*Aino Minako Juuban Prefecture…*

"Minako,

My dearest love. I know this seems so out of character for me, but I had an epiphany this morning. Call it a late realization. Foolhardy perhaps. But I had to write to you.

I had been struggling to adapt to 21st century culture and since traveling to Australia, to study biochemistry. I had reason to take pause and reflect on everything. I had gone on a tour, I think they call these, Kinetic Aussie Tours, or some such thing. However, I had traveled to a place called Uluru. I gazed upon the rock, and it spoke to me. I know, phantasms of the mind and all that. But please, hear me out…

A shaman met me there. He was very old and very wise, he was black as night and he smiled and addressed me by name and title, sight unseen. I could scarcely believe it Minako!

He had said, "Shitennou, former guardian and future guardian of Endymion, the Earth needs you to marshal your power and combine with my people and the peoples of the Earth. No, not just the occupants of this world. I don't mean that son, but the Earth/Terran Guardians and to do this, you must reclaim your heart!"

I was initiated by his tribe and have powers now I had never known. Ancient powers and new memories and we must… bond, you know, um, marry, conjoin, wed, I should slap myself but I would have asked you in person. But I was afraid you might not come so I, Argh! Just come, please, bring Artemis, I love you. I need you…hurry!

Love,

Kunzite

"Wow Minako, this is a huge land! I think I'm going to shed fur like crazy."

"So long as you don't do it all over the airport lounge carpet," she chuckled, as Artemis wiggled an ear and winked as a tall figure in a light blue safari suit approached.

Minako, her knees shaking, took off her sunhat she'd donned to shield her eyes from the harsh Australian sun.

"My heart!" he said, as they embraced, their mouths hungry for one another, not caring about the fact people were cheering, whooping and clapping as she felt herself lifted off her feet and her heart soared.

"I love you, Minako and it took me a few thousand years to do this, but I just had to do this," he said, sounding shy, and he produced a pink velvet case from the breast pocket of his suit jacket and opened it to reveal a heart shaped diamond engagement ring. The cluster of pink stones forming the heart and the gold band was exquisite.

"Oh, Kunz, you wonderful man, I am just overwhelmed, I don't know what to say!"

"I think, you do," he grinned.

"Yes, thank you, and again I say, yes… I will marry you!"

"Thank you my darling. Let's get you both to the campus complex, you're both going to love it here!"

"I'll be in that, Kunz!" Artemis said, trotting along beside the happy couple and a Silver Lamborghini with a chauffeur was smiling and she bowed, dressed in a white kimono, Kunzite had spared no expense to make the welcoming ritual an unforgettable experience.

Dusk at Uluru

Minako and Kunzite were surprised to find Tuxedo Kamen, Sailor Moon, her Senshi and the other Shitennou standing together waiting for them at the base of the rock. Within the magical circle, the shaman began to dance.

"Let's do this," Sailor Moon said as they all joined hands, "Planet Healing Activation!" they all chorused.
