Yet another story I'm not that fond of, but what can you do? The prompt was to write about a carnival freak in a normal situation. The characters and the school situation was based very heavily on my high school experience.
Oh, and the ferret thing? Really happened. The reason someone was praying for it was because the owner got sick of it and decided to starve it to death.
