Author's Comments:
This is probably my favorite of all the stories because it is wholly original and I probably spent the most time on it. The characters and the situation intrigues me, and I sort of want to spend enough time on it to make a novel-length book out of it. I think this might be revisted in NaNoWriMo next year. :D
The prompt was to combine aspects of two stories and make it into one, cohesive tale. I used "An Unwanted Confession" and "Pleasure to Burn" and basically threw the two principal characters together. It made for something pretty interesting. This was the second story that went into the anthology.
