This story reminds me of Consumed by Kihin Ranno. I guess the moral of both stories is obsession with Venus will lead to your death.

I love the beautiful description of Venus and the reaction of the youma to her. The office references seemed a bit out of place, but they were quite humorous. Cutting the eyes out seems to be a quirk of yours.
Another wonderful fanfic. I am very glad your retirement was greatly exaggerated.
