This is based on a similar concept done by John Walter Biles, using a game script from a pretend INFOCOM-type text-based RPG. If you don't know what that is, don't worry; you'll get the idea pretty quickly from reading the story.
Oh, Jason, thank you! I've been so blue all week and I finally had a few minutes to sit down and read this. Of course, I should know better than to read your parodies at work, but I needed the pick me up. And I got it. I had to stifle my laughter the entire time, just to keep from giggling hysterically. Brilliantly done.
