Summary:

Poor Mayuko! I feel for her and yet I have to laugh at all the preparation which completely fails to impress Shigure. You write their interaction really well: equals but no romantic tension between them whatsoever, which just means that Mayuko has more time to daydream about Hatori. Her constant admonishments to herself not to think about him were realistic and it was a nice touch to compare Shigure to water, impossible to grasp.
