For seventy billion years, Sailor Cosmos has watched the progress of the Earth from her post at the edge of the Galaxy Cauldron. She has witnessed the destruction of the very Galaxy itself, until she feels she can no longer take it. In a desperate bid to thwart Destiny, she alters the course of the Earth irreparably, and discovers that Destiny is not so easily diverted.
