Author's Comments:

This was originally written as a gift in the sm_fanswap. One of the prompts I was given was Mamoru/Michiru, and at first I was very, very dubious. I'm very much a canon shipper, and the idea of breaking up Michiru and Hakura really did not appeal to me. I started playing (how to write Mamoru/Michiru without OOC?!), and what came about was this character study on attraction: how it does not need to always be acted on and does it affect your feelings toward someone you love. And, if you've even noticed a change.

I really liked how it turned out! It was a good challenge!

Elegance in imagery. Affect touching, The dialogue and concept of the ficlet amazing. Some little tense issues, a little proofing required, but over-all, this was a wonderful read. Thank you.
