Summary:
Never underestimate the seas you sail upon. It looks calm on the surface, but underneath, there always lurks a fatal danger for everyone, waiting to strike out.

Author's Comments:
Inspired by Sokudo's story, "building a better flytrap". The soldier of Neptune is one twisted individual.

I've never read a character piece on Michiru like this before. The elegant, poised Michiru has faded away as she sits alone with her thoughts.
One line really leapt out at me. "Then, when I had no other choice, when I was painted into the corner, I transformed, and from then on, I was shackled by a memory and a mission." Being "painted into a corner" is such a good way to put it when writing about Michiru, the artist. I just love that line. |

Yes, twisted and scary. This is a very unsettling story, especially since it paints Haruka as having absolutely no idea what's going on in Michiru's head. And people think Haruka's the dangerous one.
Nice work!
