I always imagined that Mamoru, and Ami even, would think about death differently than the others. More often, in a different light. The combination of the thier lives and their occupations have to put a strain on how they view life and death. What they think of people who try to kill themselves, for example, when they both know that Usagi and the others, including them, had just risked their lives so that person could live.
