I'm happy to see a fic based on one of my favorite secondary characters, Ikuko. You show how deeply she loves her husband. You're completely right about how you write her emotions.
It's evident that you have a large vocabulary. However, the prose was a little flowery in a couple of places. I do the same thing sometimes and really have to check myself. Nothing major though.

I was a bit confused about the whole Cystal Tokyo / Present Day thing. Was Crystal Tokyo the dream or was her dinner with Kenji the dream? I'm assuming that dinner with Kenji was the dream and Ikuko is actually living in Crystal Tokyo and is senile. In that case, is Serenity lying about Chibiusa's dance? Are Kenji and Shingo actually dead?
