Great missing moment. The relationship between Veronica and Weevil is one of the most fascinating for me, and it makes sense that she would be upset over what he did. But perhaps more upset over his lack of regret for what he did.

Their relationship is one of the more interesting on the show I think, and that's saying something. And I think that was one of the things missing from the second season. I think in a case where Felix would have gotten no justice, Veronica could reconcile (though not necessarily approve of) Thumper's death. However, considering that Thumper would have been arrested and more than likely found guilty, I don't think she would have given Weevil a free pass. One of the things I wish the show had resolved with more clarity.
