Comments on The Ghost Woman and the Soldier by Kihin Ranno

Review by Starsea 2006-07-08

A very interesting portrayal of Kunzite and how he views his relationship/obsession with Venus. Calling her a ghost is a great way of conveying how impossible it is to be with her, to ever have any kind of relationship with her, but of course he remains fascinated. The implication here is that the fascination drives him mad, until there is only one recourse left. And yet he doesn't blame her. There is no sense of recrimination at all. Therein lies the difference between Kunzite and other men *cough*Adonis*cough*.

Author's response:

I love it when random things like this pop into my head. :D

Yup, you pretty much summed it up. ^_^ And you being down on Adonis makes me look forward to when you have to watch their reincarnations being together in that Crystal Tokyo epic of doom. XD
