I've never seen this anime, but after reading this story, I'd like to. In this fic Yumeko paints a tempting overview of "Special Power," and what it can and cannot do. We're given a good taste of the environment of Someday's Dreamers, and the rules of its world, within a heart-tuggingly tragic tale. The story is short and simple, and left me wanting a bit more depth, but it is long and clear enough to get its point across in a believable manner.

Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that there were spoilers in the story. >.< *edits* I didn't think anybody who hadn't seen the anime would actually read it, but I'm glad you enjoyed it, especially since it was mostly an exercise in getting over a case of writer's block and therefore not really my best work.
FYI, I highly recommend checking out either the twelve episode anime series or the two volume manga (which will be coming out in March). It really is a wonderful, subtly emotional story. ^_^
(And Oyamada-sensei is gorgeous!)
