And again, there is that fire and beautiful power between your characters.
I love this. They are both so stubborn and powerful in their ways that they can't realize what they finally have again.
You make me happy :). Hehehe. Great job.

Author's response:
Yeah, obstinacy and pride can really hamper you when it comes to love. But hey, like I'm going to leave it there. ;) And I'm glad that Nephrite's power comes across, since he spends most of the story backing down. (Rather OOC, now I think about it but it suited the story.) Why is it that people always love the angst best?

sadfahsdkjfhsfsdf!!!
That's me, unable to form coherent sentences because of you. I L O V E this. I could picture myself there in the storm with them, and I was def. on the edge of my seat during their whole conversation hearing the lightning build up. Very dramatic.
I don't know, this could be because I was just playing Max Payne, but it felt kind of noir-ish to me, which is awesome because I love that kind of stuff. (hence the Max Payne playing until 2am ^_^)
I think you did a great job on your first big piece for them!

Author's response:
Wow, I'm happy to get that reaction on my very first piece! Heheh, I wanted to make it as dramatic as possible. I almost had lightning strike the ground beside Nephrite, but thought that would be a little too clichéd. I don't know about 'noir' but there are many shades of grey in this story. Nobody is completely right or wrong.
Glad you enjoyed it!
