I like how you've incorporated the Japanese culture into your story. Being in Japan and knowing those kind of things first hand must be really helpful.
I don't know what to make of the mysterious character. Is he a villain? Is he a ghost? Well, he does have a bad attitude.
I like what I've seen so far. You really hit the nail with the family chemistry. What about Mr. Tsukino?
