Summary:short poem about Merlin
Merlin

The stately man with grizzled beard,
Stands humbly by his king.
Teacher and confidant ready to be heard.

Bright robes of mystery surround,
This magician who is renowned.

A quiet life found Merlin in the wood,
A cave his home, near the mystic spring;
Refuge from court, where much had been withstood.

A dream had he to unify the worlds of muggles and magic;
But in the end the story was quit tragic.

Nimue and Morgan were his foes,
Much strife did these witches bring.
Ensnared Merlin did they, much to his friends’ woes.

Prophecy was made, and Merlin was deceived.
So now in modern days, the stories may not be believed.
