A Poetry Lesson

Poetry
Is supposed to be moving,
Supposed to make you
Think feel speak react.
It should have figurative
Language. Sex is
�sacred, dirty promises.�
Wine is �scarlet ambrosia.�
Even horse shit can
Be important in its
Unimportance.
In poetry, love
Is passionate. Anger
Is palpable. Silence
Is petrifying.
Poetry
Is supposed to be good.

Clearly, this is not a poem.
