Looking at my Teddy sleeping soundly;
My heart and soul are filled with love and peace.
Life has been impacted so profoundly,
I hope this feeling never has to cease.

Remus feared for the day a child would come;
Marriage and children he thought to forgo.
His heart fought arduously to keep numb;
But fate found love aplenty to bestow.

Now Teddy has our ravaged souls mended;
His little fingers wrapped around our hearts.
His presence of great love has extended,
Our life as family wonderfully starts.

This small life is what we need to protect,
So this life of war we need to correct.
