When she sleeps, she dreams of a beautiful crystal palace, and a lone child crying out through the desolate halls. The cry pains JunJun and she always attempts to reach out to the child obscured in the shadows. To catch a glimpse of her, protect her, and be her friend. Yet, she’s always to far away. It seems as if the halls grow longer and longer, mocking her. JunJun cries out in frustration and a bright emerald light bursts from her. But she never finds out what happens next, however, for she instantly wakes up after this moment every night.
And as she rises from her bed, she realizes that the beautiful palace has disappeared and that a large circus tent has taken its place. JunJun wants more than anything to return to her dream, no matter how infuriating, because anything is better than this place. Her own personal nightmare.
