Wizard’s Digest article by Rita Skeeter
Bellatrix Lestrange has been there. This Death Eater and supporter of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named never swayed in supporting of him, even going to Azkaban for more than 14 years for trying to find him and put him back into power and for the unforgiving torture of Auror couple, Frank and Alice Longbottom.
Q: You are a strong supporter of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, why?
A: Are you kidding me? (She replied with a smirk). Only idiots would not follow the Dark Lord. It is Power that rules this world. The most powerful wizard in the world is the Dark Lord, so of course I follow him.
Q: You come a prominent wizarding family, the Blacks. How has your family’s past influences who you have become?
A: My parents taught me to respect Pure Blood. My parents taught me that Power is everything and that love means little in the real world, but I am who I am because of the Dark Lord. He gave me the power, the skills, and the spells to spread his power out into the world. I believe that the Longbottoms are the perfect example of what happens to those who oppose that power; shells remain but are utterly destroyed by that power.
Q: What do you hope to gain by continuing to support He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named even after he humiliated you and cast you out from his inner circle when your nephew, Draco Malfoy, did not succeed in killing Albus Dumbledore?
A: (Bellatrix flies to her feet, anger and hatred race like shards of glass from her eyes) You dare talk to me like that? I am from the Nobel house of Black! I have ALWAYS supported the Dark Lord! CRUCIO!
