What are little girls made of?

She'd spent most of the month tracking him down, incognito. Her solitude was part of her disguise. Everyone knew that Neptune and Uranus were inseparable, so she had to separate. To be one.

Death Phantom. Her lips curled. What a ridiculous name. It was so melodramatic; it was the kind of name you'd read in a Western comic. His acts, however, were not ridiculous. Manipulating people, making them rob and kill for his own pleasure, murdering people with a glance.

"You must be careful. You know what he can do with his hands, his mind. If he even suspects your true identity..."

She glanced at herself in the mirror, black hair pulled back tight in a ponytail, blue eyes. Strange how a change of colour could change your whole face. Sometimes she caught sight of her reflection and wondered who the woman was.

"Here's your coffee, miss."

Michiru looked up with a quick smile and a nod of thanks. She couldn't leave her manners behind, no matter how she tried. The bartender put down the cup carefully.

"Would you like some sugar?"

She shook her head and picked up the small cup, a brown finger curling in centre of the liquid. She drank it quickly, the bitter taste catching the back of her throat, waking her up. She already had to deal with one disguise. She could go without sugar for a while.

Mwehehehee.

One of my favorite of your Michiru drabbles. Very interesting idea on what Michiru might be doing in Crystal Tokyo. :3
