Rei did everything within her power to avoid the subject of sex with Minako. This included removing related subjects from conversation including short skirts, whipped cream, and disturbingly enough, places of worship.

After having made these three mistakes in the last hour, Rei had decided to just keep her mouth full. It would keep her from talking.

Minako watched as Rei bit into the apple, a smile curving on to her lips. “An apple is a very sensual fruit, you know.”

Rei swallowed quickly, unable to keep from rolling her eyes. “I know it symbolizes the womb if that’s what you mean.”

“And it reminds us all that Eve was a very bad girl,” Minako added smartly.

Rei gnashed her teeth. “Minako, what is with you lately? I can’t open my mouth without you turning the conversation on to…” Rei faltered, her cheeks coloring to match the skin of her fruit.

“Sex?” Minako finished, amused.

“Yes!” Rei snapped, flummoxed.

Minako shook her head, making Rei feel like an incapable child. “And I thought I was being obvious.”

“Well, you’re not!” Rei said loudly, aware that the room was starting to get hotter. “So why don’t you just say what you--"

Of course, Minako did not say what she meant because she wasn’t that sort of girl. She leaned forward and kissed Rei hard on the mouth. She balanced herself on Rei’s knees, pushing them apart and trying to make it look incidental, and stroked the soft flesh of her thighs. Rei moaned softly, her fingernails digging into the apple, leaving half-moon cutouts.

After awhile, they parted, breathing heavily and looking one another right in the eye. Neither of them spoke.

“Oh,” Rei said finally.

“Oh,” Minako repeated, bending down and taking a loud bite out of the apple.

“So…” Rei murmured, feeling a little light-headed.

“Yes?” Minako asked, earnest but always seductive even while she was chewing.

Rei thought about it for a moment, aware of the absurdity of it and the fact that that’s what made it oh so very Minako. Then of course she realized what would happen if she said no – that Minako would just continue the pursuit and that she would certainly do far worse far more publicly until she got her way. And then there was the way her heart was beating and the fact that the room was now very warm indeed.

“Yes,” Rei said softly, leaning forward and taking Minako’s face in her hands.

“Good,” Minako answered, quite smug.

“It better be,” Rei muttered before sinking her teeth into Minako’s neck, the apple falling forgotten to the ground.
