Summary:Kunzite and Endmyion having a conversation after the PGSM series.
Fractured

Kunzite paced in his apartment. He just wasn’t sure what to do for probably the first time in his life. He knew that he and the other Shitenou were under Beryl’s spell when they were her pawns, but he had a personal vendetta against Endymion. Beryl just made use of that in order to control him.

What Kunzite could not understand was why Endymion easily forgave him. He had broken his commitment of loyalty , yet Endymion acted as if nothing had ever happened. And now, he wanted to be friends again. In this life after he was a traitor, his prince still wanted to be friends and stand together.

There was a knock at the door.

Kunzite knew it was Endymion. They were to have a guys night out tonight. It was Jadeite’s idea, obviously. It wasn’t something that the stoic leader wanted to do. He opened the door to see only Endymion there.

“Come in, Endymion.” He said as he waved his hand towards the sitting area in the studio apartment.

“Kunzite, can we talk? I mean really talk?” Endymion asked as he walked into the room.

“Oh course, my prince.” Kunzite said as he followed.

They both sat down across from each other. Kunzite with perfect posture and on his complete guard. While he and the Shitenou had done their best in acclimating into the present culture, it was clear to see that he was an ancient warrior by his posture. Endymion was relaxed as he sat in a wing chair across from him.

With determined eye he leaned towards Kunzite, “Kunzite, will you please quit calling me prince?”

“Sire, that is who you are. What else would I call you?” Kunzite was unsure of where this conversation was going.

“You could call me Mamoru. That is my name in this time.” Mamoru responded.

“If that is what you wish, sire.”

“Damn it Kunzite!” Mamoru stood. “Don’t you understand? I don’t want a formal relationship. I want our old friendship back. Not some fractured replica. We were close friends at once, I want that back..”

“Sire, I don’t know if that is possible.”
