She was terrified, that he knew, but Helios paid well and this op was worth all the risks he was taking to save the former Senshi Princess of Tara.

Is there anybody out there…?

Hello…?

Is there anybody in there…?

Just nod if you can hear me.

Is there anyone at home?

Diamond’s Cruiser in orbit over The Dark Kingdom

“All right, launch attack drones!” Rubeus ordered; a hint of excitement in his otherwise blank expression evident.

“By your command, Rubeus,” a senior droid responded as the thousands of small craft entered the planet’s atmosphere.

The orbital defense grid neutralized by an EM pulse before the assault, The Dark Kingdom was more vulnerable now than it had ever been. With Metalia out of it, Beryl in Diamond’s hands, the fruit was ripe for the picking.

---

Silvery disks skimmed over the flat lifeless landscape, negotiating its rocky typography, taking out pulse cannon positions and their minders as they went. Countless luminous drones wove through a hostile landscape, seeking out enemy positions ensconced within deep gorges, rushing over escarpments and mountains using EM pulses to ground all Dark Kingdom fighter craft, these unused since the Silver Millennium.

Metalia didn’t see the point of keeping the fleet in service. Aside from two fighters and a transport, the Planetary Kingdoms no longer a threat, she instructed her minion, Beryl through an unconscious link to focus on other priorities, feeling the time and effort maintaining these would be a waste of valuable energy better served searching for the Ginzuishou and destroying the senshi. Yet, the princess had not appeared; although Tsukino Usagi could access the power of the Ginzuishou, she needed the Nijizuishou crystals to access her full power and transform into the Moon Princess in order to take on Metalia, Beryl and her allies.

---

Dark Kingdom missiles and cloaked mines took down many drones but they were outnumbered five to one and the drones could maneuver faster given their recent construction and firepower. A swarm of drones then flew below the deck avoiding enemy scanners and sought out the deep craters firing upon automated defenses lighting up the surface of the barren world like a fireworks display.

“Where is Beryl?” Ixopo, a youma mage growled, sending a search party to find their queen and generals. “I am going to the chamber to speak with Metallia, stay here and monitor the situation. Get our forces out there, now!”

“Yes sir.”

Tokyo

Azabu Park

Zoisite stood near the fountain eyeing the people as they walked by waiting for any signs of the senshi. He knew the youma would flush them out but then his communications device beeped and he cussed under his breath. A man with his young son and daughter scowled and chastised him for his language, but Zoisite waved him off and strode to a copse of trees to take his call in peace.

He was surprised that it wasn’t Beryl chewing him out for taking too long procuring the fourth crystal, the senshi had taken three and the remaining of these was almost in his grasp, almost. Zoisite was waiting for the target to show up before summoning his youma.

The call had come from the worried youma mage from Beryl’s stronghold, although right now it seemed it wasn’t all-that strong. He smirked at the irony.

Something was wrong with this picture but the Shitennou let the youma speak.

Zoisite frowned, feeling a little uneasy and prompted the youma to slow down and start at the beginning.

“We need you Lord Zoisite, you’re the only one who can lead us,” he said, and Zoisite cut him off shouting at the fool.

“What are you talking about? Beryl is our queen, this is treason, explain yourself or I’ll personally garrote you, talk!”

The Shitennou listened carefully to what the mage had to say, and didn’t like what he was hearing in the slightest. Even though there was, no love lost between himself and the other Shitennou, he did however, desire and respect Beryl and her power. As much as this was true, he found himself relieved, as he didn’t need to worry about her killing him if she was dissatisfied with his performance.

Zoisite understood why Nephrite jumped at the chance of helping to establish a second foothold position on Earth to escape the barrel of Metalia’s game of Russian roulette, he’d do the same if he could. Metalia was controlling Beryl and if that weren’t true she’d be a lot more accommodating and he licked his lips at the thought.

He pondered for a moment on the campaign in the Middle East, once Jadeite’s old stomping ground during the Silver Millennium now it would be the Arch Youma, and his former compatriot, the latter he loathed, running the show.

Zoisite thought Nephrite and Tetis well suited to lead the invasion and establish a new super province as Imperial Governor and governess. Despite his resentment of the man, if Nephrite didn’t mind cavorting with a human-youma hybrid, who was Zoisite to protest anyway, Nephrite made noises about getting involved with Tetis on a more intimate level many times, especially when drunk at a tavern or on a mission. Zoisite had found the infatuation insufferable at times but was amused at Nephrite’s passion for the woman despite his poor attempts to hide it from everyone.

Zoisite would say something like, “Nephrite, there is no accounting for taste, but each to his own. I hope you do get to seduce her, Neph.” Zoisite grinned, enjoying teasing the other man getting a rise out of the Sky King. That guy would find a mutant sexy, of course, Nephrite would.

Odd that their rivalry boarded on mutual contempt at times, it seemed they loved sparring and would likely lose themselves in a tangle of limbs under the sheets in a more, friendly battle. Yet, in front of her, he played the asshole. He’d never get into her bed at the rate he was going unless he changed his tack, but that was their business.

Once complete, they would take Tokyo, wipe out all opposition and establish the Earth as a new acquisition to add to the Dark Kingdom’s ever-expanding territories.

He didn't know much about this Diamond guy, but without his help this plan would not be possible, yes, definitely a most ambitious scheme.

There was no denying Zoisite’s desire to have sex with his queen. She'd promised she'd sleep with each of them as an incentive to perform their duties; the jury was out as to whether or not he'd get his turn.

Though longing to deflower Sailor Mercury, he was sure there was a connection between them but Beryl was much more accessible.

The young Shitennou closed his eyes picturing Beryl straddling him. Rocking above him, bodice torn away exposing those sumptuous breasts, he licked his lips at the very idea of making this a reality. The semi-naked young monarch’s tumble of vermilion spilling over her bared chest as she let him grip her hips while holding a glass of dry red in hand, giggling as she poured its contents down his throat. He imagined her hoisting up her skirts revealing her downy-soft blood-red glory. Zoisite pictured his sovereign above him, massaging the taught musculature of her inner thighs, driving him crazy as she teased him to the hardness of a granite sentinel. She slipped over his erection and moved as if a dancer as she took him deeper into her moisten-depths. He imagined her taking him to the brink and back until she came and he followed her lead. He could almost hear himself growl as she had her way with her subordinate on the roil bed with its red silk sheets, black coverlet and fluffed up pillows.

The obsidian Palace, she’d call it, as this was her own fantasy she shared with them all on many occasions, as Queen Beryl waxed lyrical about how she’d do things differently in Dark Crystal Tokyo if the Moon Princess and her Guard were no more. He liked the idea very much. In Dark Tokyo, he could see her legs propped up on the throne, chin resting upon her knee, reading over reports, the other leg hanging over the armrest showing off her body knowing members of her court lusted after her affections.

Beryl in a black fuku, wearing an obsidian crown with him as her senior advisor, he liked the idea of sitting at the foot of Beryl’s throne and being favored over Kunzite as a bed partner but he pushed the thought aside. There was a long way to go yet before entertaining such notions, serving only as motivation at this point. The Nijizuishou was the main priority after sorting out where Beryl had run off to, probably off fucking her silvery-headed Right Hand Shitennou. He made a face and dragged his mind to present concerns. Tackling the senshi, killing the Moon Princess and seizing the Ginzuishou after uniting the seven Nijizuishou, this, the icing on the proverbial cake.

“I told her she needed me by her side. All right, continue, I’m listening,” Zoisite snapped.

“Lord Zoisite, we’re under attack by enemies unknown.”

“By the Dark Ones, how?”

“A ship, an old one not of this system; I’d wager, this galaxy had just appeared in orbit and is laying siege to the compound. We’re under heavy bombardment but the shields are holding up. Please can you bring those youma battalions you have on Earth to help us?”

“I can bring those I have under my command, but the bulk of our forces is in the Middle East and under Nephrite’s control, where is Kunzite?”

“Gone, he disappeared and is either captured or killed as we fear our queen perhaps has been taken.”

“Metalia, can you summon her to manifest herself through a human host?”

“She sleeps, we cannot revive her.”

“Oh hell, all-right, I will return, but if things are going to hell up there we’ll re-locate to the arctic base. I will speak to you once I arrive in the throne room and assume full command.”

“Yes My Lord.”

Dark Kingdom

Threading their way through elaborate rocky outcrops that crowned the perimeter of the Dark Kingdom Palace, a second force shield went up and the drones rose to a higher altitude forming an umbrella and en masse began bombarding the shield with particle beams around the clock.

The centuries taken out and youma slow to action destroyed; thousands of them had perished in the first assault.

“Yes, we’ve broken through.” The plan had worked, the youma were all asleep, the rest on Earth in Japan, and only a handful at that.

“Good work, now, I want a full report pronto,” Diamond said, his image aboard the lead fighter accompanying the drones as they pounded enemy positions. “Now the piaster resistance, I will prepare my personal fighter to land in the Dark Kingdom’s stronghold and claim their throne.

“Thank you, Tetis!” Rubeus was so excited he was actually smiling and laughing with his droid subordinates who weren’t used to this version of their commander and chief.

Sapphire communicated with Rubeus from within the mother ship having used its Phase-Drive to enter Dark Kingdom Space. Preliminary scans indicated the youma were in stasis and without Beryl only a trapped creature, calling itself Metalia stood in their way. With the Shitennou gone, all on Earth it seemed Metalia was the most vulnerable she'd ever been since leaving the Incarnadine in disgrace over several million years past.

Meanwhile, Diamond sent the Specter Sisters to accompany the frightened princess Beryl to her chambers.

“There, that’s a good girl. Now pipe up, cry-baby!” Petz scowled.

Huddled on the corner of her bed whimpering, unable to grasp what she had done under Metalia’s influence she could only stare at her antagonists bewildered by what was happening to her.

“Don’t worry your pretty little head over it girl, the memories will fade, you’re safe now,” Petz laughed. “Oh my, I like the new you, not so up yourself now are we, hmmm?”

“C’mon, she’s no threat, and nowhere near such fun as she might have been to haring if still under Metalia’s influence. Oh, and that symbol upon your brow, seems you have a lot of catching up to do. I’d say the prince of Terra, your brother is going to be very surprised when he is reunited with his lost sibling, pity he’ll kill you before he realizes what he has done to you, child!” Koan cackled, she, the younger of four sisters code-named the Specter Sisters: Calaveras, Berthier, and Petz.

“Keep away. Please, don’t hurt me. Why have you brought me here and where is mother, father and my brother? Are they here?”

“Awww isn’t that sweet, she is worried about her dead parents. Child, get this through your thick skull, your family are dead and have been for over a millennia or more ago. Hate to break it to ya kid, your brother though, hates your guts and the princess of the Moon despises you. So, you’ve got your work cut out for you, kiddo!”

“No, you’re lying!”

“Okay kid, have it your own way, but soon we will…, release you into the wild and let you take your chances with your senshi friends, won’t that be fun.”
