Summary:
When Chiba Usagi comes by to visit Aino Minako to ask for forgiveness on a past decision, the woman Minako is now must contend with a past that she cannot let go of and reach a conclusion that she might never have arrived at if things had been different. [Post Final Battle for Crystal Tokyo's creation, hinted at the end of Galaxia arc.]

Personally, I think this story started off too slow. In the end, though, it turned out pretty well. :)

How very sad and bitter, but compelling reading none the less. The fact it's so plausible is part of what makes it compelling; Usagi did it once, what's to stop her doing it again? A chilling little 'what if' story. |

This story shows a woman who is crippled both physically as well as emotionally. Minako's character is handled wonderfully. Her emotions are true. She is in mourning for the life, the future, she has lost.
I wonder about Usagi not visiting before though. Did she feel guilty? Is that why she didn't visit?
Oh, and you made me get all teary eyed. ;) |
