Reviews on The Bitter Brew by blue

How very sad and bitter, but compelling reading none the less. The fact it's so plausible is part of what makes it compelling; Usagi did it once, what's to stop her doing it again? A chilling little 'what if' story.

This story shows a woman who is crippled both physically as well as emotionally. Minako's character is handled wonderfully. Her emotions are true. She is in mourning for the life, the future, she has lost.

I wonder about Usagi not visiting before though. Did she feel guilty? Is that why she didn't visit?

Oh, and you made me get all teary eyed. ;)

Author's response:

Thanks again for the review, ruminant. I hope my reply answered your questions. And also, lastly, on that last part. The reason why I pointed out that Minako was free to choose her life now but can't is just a little jibe since Minako is usually used as the character who is least satisfied with having to give up the future she wants for the future that is "supposed' to happen... Well, at least a while back, she was one of the mainly used characters for it. Just a bit of irony of being given something one might have wanted, once upon a time. ^_~
