Summary:

It is mentioned in canon that Queen Serenity's original intention was for her daughter and the Sailor Soldiers to live peaceful, happy lives on Earth. As we know, the resurgence of the Dark Kingdom made such a life impossible. What would have happened to the five girls, had they not awakened as soldiers? Where would their lives have led them? Would they have still met each other and become friends? And what of Serenity and Endymion's love?

This alternate-universe story seeks to answer these questions, and more, when the diverse paths of destiny converge on a special afternoon.

A sweet story, capturing the senshi as ordinary people, leading ordinary lives. I particularly liked Usagi coming to Rei's defence, as well as Ami making a 'present' of her excellent results to Usagi. The interaction between Mamoru and Usagi was very amusing, as was the interaction between Minako and Rei - I'm almost tempted to ask for a sequel about Rei and Justin, and Ami and Xavier! The mysterious fourth man seems to be nameless. ;)

Perfect for a little light reading.

You did a wonderful job with the characters. You made Rei caring and Minako sane while staying true to their characterizations. I loved Usagi and Mamoru's meeting and Rei's sacrifice at the end.

This is a great read for anyone who has ever wonder, "What if the senshi never learned of their shared destiny?"
