Reviews on Golden Afternoon by Dejana Talis

A sweet story, capturing the senshi as ordinary people, leading ordinary lives. I particularly liked Usagi coming to Rei's defence, as well as Ami making a 'present' of her excellent results to Usagi. The interaction between Mamoru and Usagi was very amusing, as was the interaction between Minako and Rei - I'm almost tempted to ask for a sequel about Rei and Justin, and Ami and Xavier! The mysterious fourth man seems to be nameless. ;)

Perfect for a little light reading.

You did a wonderful job with the characters. You made Rei caring and Minako sane while staying true to their characterizations. I loved Usagi and Mamoru's meeting and Rei's sacrifice at the end.

This is a great read for anyone who has ever wonder, "What if the senshi never learned of their shared destiny?"
