Summary:

It’s a rescue, really. At least, that’s what Fred and George Weasley manage to convince him of. After all, Hermione is sure to be a target for revenge seeking Purebloods – what could any right-minded Wizard do but step in to help?

But with the shadow of Voldemort still hanging over a frightened community, Oliver is about to find out that the consequences of doing the right thing can get very out of hand!

Well, my love, it certainly has been quite some time since I've gone back and read the beginning of this story - I'm usually too concerned with the upcoming chapters to worry with the beginning.

It struck me very forcefully upon this reading just how much I borrowed from you for FTL. And as I reread this opening chapter, I'm reminded of Love&Hate, and how much it begins to sound like this, even so far as being centered on Oliver Wood - and I'm hesitant to continue for fear that yo...
