I liked how the text flowed and the emphasis on innocence. Snape's frog card made me laugh, since I can't imagine him gardening (though I can guess his favorite flower). Everyone was also nicely characterized.

That was a really great start. Exactly what I imagine Neville feeling when he returned to Hogwarts and Harry wasn't there. It is encouraging to see him standing for himself in an effort to keep following Harry. I look forward to the rest.
