"Those who restrain their desires, do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained." – William Blake
She gazed at him from afar. Undeniably, she would forever. Such, was fate.
He had grown into a fine king, mirroring that of a prince so long forgotten. Yet, he was so much more. He was no longer a struggled teenager who defended a city in a simple tuxedo, nor was he the strong willed soldier of a former life. He was King Endymion, a savior, a hero.. a man.
Sailor Pluto knew the latter the best. It was what she admired most about him. Endymion appreciated the simple things in life and though he lived exotically, he never allowed it to get the best of him. He spent his nights making love to a queen who was more a goddess than any of them really knew. And he loved her. Oh god, he loved her more than life itself, he had proven it time and time again.
She couldn’t help but feel jealous. She had never been allowed such necessities. Sailor Pluto, alone, guarded the Time Gate. She would never appreciate friendship, would never understand a loved one’s touch, would never hear the voices of her children. She had been denied the one thing people crave the most in this world. Love.
She straightened up, smoothing her hands over her fuku. She stood like this for thousands upon thousands of years and she would continue to, until fate had a change of mind.
