Author's Comments:
I am eternally grateful to Starsea, who has agreed to be my editor for this project. Thanks so much for everything you're doing and for giving my the confidence to keep going on with this and other stories.
Now everyone go read "The Exiles."

Wow.... This is amazing. Minako's always seemed to me like she had two different faces; there's the hyperactive optimist she displays to everyone else, but there's no way anyone can sustain that indefinitely, and I think you really get at the heart of her situation. This was an absolutely beautiful story.
I admit that I don't know much about Sailor V, and only know of Alan and Katarina through fan conversation. In spite of that, I really feel like I could connect with everyone in the story...and for a few moments I felt like I was "watching a train wreck". I'll be honest. I read the complete version elsewhere. And I held out and waited until the story was complete before reading.
I am so glad I did. Even though it was heartwrenching to see Minako having to 'grow up' in such a way, I think it is totally fitting with her character to have to go through those realisations the way she did. Brilliantly done. I have even more of an appreciation of the girl named Minako than before. |
